To start, we’ve added Scotland’s soup – Cock-a-leekie! Chef makes this classic with chicken broth and vegetables with the subtle fruitiness of prunes. Or, if you fancy something more fishy, opt for our Smoked Haddock and Spring Onion Fishcake. Chef makes these fishcakes with flaked smoked haddock and chopped spring onions folded into creamy mashed potato and shaped into chunky patties. Simply reheat in a hot oven until golden and serve with a crisp salad.
Next up, we’ve added a little spice with our new Beef Curry. To make the curry, chef slowly cooks diced beef with onions and various spices. He adds yoghurt to give a medium flavoured finish. If curry isn’t your thing, you could try one of our delectable lamb dishes. Chef marinates lamb cutlets in an aromatic mix of garlic, chilli, sugar and lime juice. Serve with the accompanying soy dipping sauce.
Why not finish off with a delicious dessert? Our Pineapple Pudding is a delicious, traditional dessert. For this pineapple pudding, chef makes a light vanilla flavoured traditional sponge. He then tops with a pineapple ring and a cherry. For something a bit lighter, you could try our Raspberry Ripple Mousse. This mousse is a light and fluffy dessert. A mixture of eggs, cream and sugar blended with raspberries and white chocolate. Available in single or double portions.
There is plenty to choose from in our sumptuous Spring menu. Enjoy!
